In 2026 our district lost a hospital and a library, the history museum is at risk of closing, and i am fighting a new garbage dump. All while the current commissioner has raised our taxes 14.5% and given herself and her staff a raise, without a single office hours, town hall, or spoken on the record about any of it. We need a change. We need transparency, accountability, and responsibility. I working professional in health care with a business degree and a love for this city.
Town Halls & Office Hours Regular, public access to the commissioner. Constituent-first office culture — not appointment-only politics.
Public Safety Transparency Regular public meetings on county public safety — open to all D4 residents. Nothing like this exists at the county level today.
Audits & Budget Transparency County budget spend and school budgets publicly audited and reported. Residents deserve to know where every dollar goes.
Healthcare Access: The closure of Christ Hospital has left a critical gap in medical care across our community. No one should have to leave their neighborhood to get healthy. Aaron’s decade as a physical therapist providing in-home care makes this personal.
Clean Streets & Sanitation: Irregular and incomplete trash pickup is a daily quality of life issue. Aaron will leverage the Hudson County Improvement Authority (HCIA), the Hudson County Economic Development Corporation, and other available resources to fund additional garbage pails, replacements, and supplemental pickup where needed.
Parks & Green Spaces: Reservoir 3, Harsimus Embankment, Terrace Avenue Park, and Jersey City’s other underserved green spaces deserve county investment. Open Space Trust Fund dollars must finally reach District 4.
Education Free: HCCC tuition for all county residents. HCST admissions equity and transparency — including IEP access data and the $600 enrollment fee.
Transportation: Free county-wide rapid transit for all residents. Working families shouldn’t choose between a bus and a bill.
Childcare & Summer Programming: County-subsidized childcare and summer camp programming so families can work and kids can thrive — not just survive the summer.
